Small days become a film

Little Peanut collects one short moment a day – a few seconds of video, a photo or a Live Photo – and turns them into videos that let you watch your child grow.

Monthly and yearly videos in one tap

With intro, a subtle date, a milestone card and an outro. The video is made on your iPhone; save it to your library or share it with your family.

  • Record or fill in later

    Record in the app or pick from your library. “From this day” shows the photos and videos of any day, so missed days are easy to fill in.

  • Milestones and firsts

    Height, weight, head circumference, a highlight and a photo – with a growth chart. Plus the “Firsts” catalogue: first smile, first tooth, first steps.

  • Projects

    Holidays, birthdays, the first Christmas: photos and videos from any day, in your order, as a video of their own.

  • Calendar and looking back

    See at a glance which days are filled. “On this day” shows what happened one month and one year ago.

  • For several children

    Every child gets their own diary and colour. The age is shown everywhere, with a little greeting on each monthly birthday.

  • Gentle reminders

    If you like, the app reminds you at your time, on the monthly birthday and when the month video is ready – no guilt when a day is missing.

Your data stays with you

Is the app available in English?

Not yet: the app itself is in German. This page and the privacy policy are available in English.

Where are my moments stored?

Only on your iPhone. Photos and videos stay in your library; new recordings go to the album “Little Peanut”. Names, milestones and notes are stored in the app itself. We have no access to them.

How do I move to a new iPhone?

Create a backup file under Einstellungen → Backup (settings), optionally with copies of the media, and save it to the Files app or your computer. Restore it in the same place on the new iPhone. If your photos are already there through iCloud, the app finds them again.

What happens if I delete a photo from my library?

The moment for that day goes missing. The app shows this and leaves the day out of the video. It is best to delete moments in the app – the original then stays in your library.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Little Peanut is currently available for iPhone.
